DjangoCon US 2026 has just about wrapped up! We are already planning for DjangoCon US 2027, and we need organizers to help make DCUS 2027 the best it can be.

DjangoCon US 2026 starts Monday, August 24 at the voco Chicago Downtown. Some of you are already packing; some of you are still finishing that one thing at work before you can think about packing. Either way, here is everything worth knowing before you get on a plane, a train, or the Blue Line.

Some of the best parts of DjangoCon US have never been on the program but in the less structured part of the conference; the 'hallway track', a small group that forms around a table after a talk, or a conversation that wants to keep going after lunch.

These topics include technical debugging, brainstorming, career guidance, building interpersonal skills, sharing hobbies and interests, and more.

This year we moved to a single track, and that gives us the space to support those conversations directly. With that in mind, we're introducing Open Spaces to DjangoCon!
