Code of Conduct Transparency Report for DjangoCon US 2026

The organizers of DjangoCon US 2026 are publishing this year’s Code of Conduct transparency report. This report summarizes the reports we received and the actions taken by the Code of Conduct Committee. We addressed one official complaint:

• Professional Boundaries: We received a report concerning an interaction between a member of the conference team and an attendee that crossed appropriate professional boundaries. The Code of Conduct Committee spoke with the team member about maintaining those boundaries and the power dynamics involved when interacting with attendees. The team member apologized, and we extended that apology to the attendee.

Informal Reports

We also had an informal report:

• Removal from the Conference: Before the conference, organizers became aware of circumstances involving an attendee that required us to remove them from the event. The individual did not attend the conference, and no further action was required.
